Elevate Center didn't start with a building. It started with a question: what would it look like if everything a family needed to move forward existed in one place? It's rooted in north Springfield and built to serve families from across Springfield.
Robberson Elementary
A school that never stopped serving north Springfield.
In early 2025, Elevate Lives finalized the purchase of the former Robberson Elementary School from Springfield Public Schools, a building that had sat at the center of north Springfield for generations.
It didn't need to become something unrecognizable. It had always been built to prepare the next generation to be equipped for life.
What changed was the scope. Not just children. Whole families. And not just one organization, but multiple organizations sharing space, sharing purpose, and serving families in a way that none of them could do alone.
Elevate Center opened its doors in 2025.
Why Collaboration
One roof changes everything.
The idea behind Elevate Center is straightforward and uncommon at the same time: what if the organizations working to help north Springfield families stopped operating in isolation?
What if a child could go to school in the same building where their parents were learning life skills and working toward stable housing? What if a person in recovery could find support, mentorship, and job training without navigating a different address for each one?
That's what this campus is built to be. Not a referral network. Not a partnership on paper. A shared space with a shared purpose, where the organizations under this roof know each other's families by name and keep choosing to work together because they've seen what that makes possible.

This is what it looks like now.
Today, Elevate Center is a working campus in north Springfield where families find housing, education, youth development, and recovery support under one roof, connected by one shared mission.
The campus is still growing. The organizations here are still learning what's possible when they work as one. And the door is still open.
